3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
23/XII/14 - 1Pt. 6Fl. Oz. bottle from Healthy Spirits (CA, USA) @ home - BB: n/a, bottled: n/a (2014-1529) Thanks to Dieter A. for sharing the bottle!
Cloudy dark orange beer, big creamy yellowish irregular head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: some citrus, piny, dusty, spicy notes, bit of honey. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: some citrus, bitter, grassy, some almonds and marzipan. Aftertaste: very bitter, resinous, dry, some honey, sugary touch, caramel, bit soapy, malty. Probably much better fresh, but no date to be found on label or bottle. Thus allowing shop keepers to have shelf turds like this one. Smart move, Mission!

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pine and Citrus dominate the aroma on this one. Big slap of hop bitterness when you take a sip. Really hoppy. A very solid double ipa, you can always count on a brewery in San Diego to nail the style.
