COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A style of beer curiously born on the foggy shores of Father Junipero Serra’s first founding mission. Our own vigorous entry is one rebellious IPA, quick on the trigger, and brimming with a bounty of hop ingenuity. This is a big, bold, brazen beer, a restless vision of a new America.

12oz bottle from Harrika’s Brew Haus. Reddish-orange hue, murky clarity with mostly diminishing white head. Virtually no lacing. Strong sweet orange aroma, lemon peel, and floral notes. Heavy bitter citrus hop up front with a heavy long citrus and booze finish. Lively carbonation, wet on the palate. Simple, good and boozy!

Light in color with a large head. Nutmeg and cinnamon with some citrus. Citrus bitterness, roasted malt and you can tell a High ABV but not in a bad way. Good beer.

This is a great smelling, nice looking beer , but flavor is lacking.... I was disappointed in the taste, very strong alcohol taste... Like tubing alcohol ...

Bottle at home, from the Best Dam Beers Shop SD, 11/05/14. Pours clear golden amber with a well appointed off white covering that retains - picture book appearance! Nose is caramel malt, pine, bitter orange, bread dough, grapefruit. Taste picks up the pace a little, caramel malt, bitter grapefruit, juicy citric, light booze notes. pine resin. Medium + body, fine carbonation, semi aggressive hop bitterness in the close and a little warming alcohol. Solid enough DIPA, ticks the boxes, packs a punch.

bottle - Pours clear orange with a small, lingering head. It has a hop led aroma with citrus and resin. The flavor is resinous and very bitter. It’s full bodied and very good, though not great for a style that I love. Worth a try.
