3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
My first mission beer (I also have their IPA in the fridge). Pours a hazy amber/orange color with tan head. Aroma is citrus with some sweetness (caramel). Taste is similar with hop bitterness as well as some sweet caramel malt. The body is medium and I am surprised the abv is over 9%. Not a bad beer but compared to other DIPAs it is well below average.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Poured from a 32 oz can. Clear copper with a huge off-white, long-lasting head. Citrusy aroma. Not as aromatic as expected for a DIPA. Not a real strong flavor. Not overly hoppy. OK.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
32 OZ CAN!!! Amber color with a white head. Aroma and taste are almost the same with hops, dark fruit and sweet malt. Good beer but Iíll be honest, I buy it for the price, ABV, size and cost. Killer value here. When do you ever get that with craft beer these days?

Draft. Hazy golden amber color, fluffy white head. Nice aroma of citrus, peach, pineapple. Taste is fruity, malty, just a touch of bitterness at the finish.

Had on tap at Max's in Baltimore. Pours a slightly hazy amber. Aroma is cascade. Alcohol overwhelms. Not really pleasant. Almost drinkable.

22oz bottle -
The beer pours out a clear copper body with a fluffy off-white head that stuck around a good while. Aroma is too sweet for an IIPA. Super sweet, sticky caramel-like nose with dried fruits found after awhile. Flavor is just too, too sweet. Caramel, canned fruit syrup, lite tropical fruits but it finishes nicely. Either under attenuated or the brewer might want to ease up on the malts a bit.

Big ass can shared by my friend John. Clear amber in color with a huge beige head. Aroma of sweet malt, pine and grass. Sweet malt flavor with a grassy hop finish.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Moderate hop aroma, not the punch in the face I expect from an IIPA. Pours a clear orange/amber, with a huge white head. Bitter hop punch, with a caramel malt backbone, lingering bitter finish. The alcohol is really well hidden, but overall, this is just an average IIPA.

Bottle to tulip
Flowers, muted mango, a touch of?orange and hops. This pours as a reddish tinged amber with a thick 3 cm white bubbly head. The taste is a little spicy and syrupy, but not too sweet, maybe closer to molasses than syrup. It ends with the expected mouth dying bitterness. A touch chalky and thin and a little oily and late burn.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
32 ounce can. Served in a DFH snifter, the beer pours a hazy dark orange/amber color with about an inch light tan head. Head retention and lacing are both good. The brew smells like citrusy (grapefruit, tropical fruit) hops, along wtih some caramel and bready malt. It tastes like citrusy (tropical fruit, grapefruit, orange peel) and pine hops, caramel and bready malt, and toffee. Thereís also a good bittersweet finish. Mouthfeel/body is medium, itís creamy and easy to drink with moderate carbonation. I think itís a good brew, and at $7.99 a can (or cannon as I think Mission calls these big cans) Iíd pick this up again.
