COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A style of beer curiously born on the foggy shores of Father Junipero Serra’s first founding mission. Our own vigorous entry is one rebellious IPA, quick on the trigger, and brimming with a bounty of hop ingenuity. This is a big, bold, brazen beer, a restless vision of a new America.

A copper orange color with an off-white creamy head. Plenty of pine/citrus hops up front with treacle, sugary malts to balance. Nice feel and body, good hoppy follow. I look forward to this one again on my next visit!

My nose’s first thought is ‘candy’ but what kind, & now a ripe brie smell (probably simcoe hops as i just smelled some an hour ago making a batch of ale), a little pine & caramel—quite a mix. Drinking from a 32 oz can. Can’t escape the cheese in the flavor, the pine of hops & alcohol forming a bitter chord. Hazy orange yellow with moderate off white head. Light on the palate. A confused finish. Nasty, which isn’t the worst thing.

High alcohol. IPA meets malt liquor. Very citrus aroma with a fruity finish. Strong alcohol and malt base with a tingly orange body. Interesting.

Beer Bloggers Conference - San Diego - Golden amber in color, clear with a thin head. Nice easy drinking Double IPA, A little light in the extra hops needed to make a big IPA flavor.

Decent sized sample poured by the breweries Southern California Market Manager Jenny Ramos during a Beer and Indian food evening in The Clay Oven, irvine, Orange County on 14th July 2014. Red hue to this brew, the head off-white and clingy. Malty front in both the nose and taste, the hops are there as well though and come through loud and clear with a mild citrus feel to their flavouring. No expert on this style/type of beer but I liked this one.
