A copper orange color with an off-white creamy head. Plenty of pine/citrus hops up front with treacle, sugary malts to balance. Nice feel and body, good hoppy follow. I look forward to this one again on my next visit!

Draft. Hazy golden amber color, fluffy white head. Nice aroma of citrus, peach, pineapple. Taste is fruity, malty, just a touch of bitterness at the finish.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Hazed amber with a thin white head. Aroma of toasted malt, citrus, caramel, dough and alcohol. Taste of citrus, caramel, yeast, mango and some slightly off notes. Sweet with an above average long lasting bitterness.

Had on tap at Max's in Baltimore. Pours a slightly hazy amber. Aroma is cascade. Alcohol overwhelms. Not really pleasant. Almost drinkable.

22oz bottle -
The beer pours out a clear copper body with a fluffy off-white head that stuck around a good while. Aroma is too sweet for an IIPA. Super sweet, sticky caramel-like nose with dried fruits found after awhile. Flavor is just too, too sweet. Caramel, canned fruit syrup, lite tropical fruits but it finishes nicely. Either under attenuated or the brewer might want to ease up on the malts a bit.

Big ass can shared by my friend John. Clear amber in color with a huge beige head. Aroma of sweet malt, pine and grass. Sweet malt flavor with a grassy hop finish.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Moderate hop aroma, not the punch in the face I expect from an IIPA. Pours a clear orange/amber, with a huge white head. Bitter hop punch, with a caramel malt backbone, lingering bitter finish. The alcohol is really well hidden, but overall, this is just an average IIPA.

Bottle to tulip
Flowers, muted mango, a touch of?orange and hops. This pours as a reddish tinged amber with a thick 3 cm white bubbly head. The taste is a little spicy and syrupy, but not too sweet, maybe closer to molasses than syrup. It ends with the expected mouth dying bitterness. A touch chalky and thin and a little oily and late burn.

32 ounce can. Served in a DFH snifter, the beer pours a hazy dark orange/amber color with about an inch light tan head. Head retention and lacing are both good. The brew smells like citrusy (grapefruit, tropical fruit) hops, along wtih some caramel and bready malt. It tastes like citrusy (tropical fruit, grapefruit, orange peel) and pine hops, caramel and bready malt, and toffee. Thereís also a good bittersweet finish. Mouthfeel/body is medium, itís creamy and easy to drink with moderate carbonation. I think itís a good brew, and at $7.99 a can (or cannon as I think Mission calls these big cans) Iíd pick this up again.

Horrible head. I actually had to force this one to have a head by pouring it high above the glass. Decent appearance: Cloudy apple cider look. Not so great, or well composed label (I know.... but hey, it should be part of the whole ambiance of your beer, right? Take some time with the label!) . The head, not surprisingly, dissipated quickly. The nose was interesting. The first taste made me wonder if I had a bad beer (not stocked well, etc). Very bad aftertaste. I canít help but wonder if this wasnít stored properly by my beer store. If not, this is terrible, but since itís so bad, its not fair to blame the brew or the brewery at this point... Ok, so its warming up to me I guess. Not a fav, but not bad. It grows on you...
