Bottle from Trader Joe’s. Gold pour with a decent head, light sweet malty aroma, a bit of hop in the background. Flavor is somewhat sweet, bready malt, some light fruit with a good hop balance. Body is moderate which is a pleasant suprise considering the abv, finish is crisp and balanced. A nice, very drinkable summer session ale, will plan to have some on hand for my BMC swilling in-laws.

Mission St. Blonde Ale is a clear, golden ale with a filmy, white ring. It has a sweet, light, malt extract aroma with a minty, herbal hint. It’s light bodied and a little watery with a chalky finish. It tastes quite sweet-- kind of like, well, light malt extract. There’s a light, resiny bitterness after the swallow. I dumped most of the bottle into some onions and garlic I was cooking.

Clear golden pour with a white head. Nose is sweet bread and grain. Some floral hops, a light grassiness, and perhaps a touch of orange peel. Maybe some honey and biscuit. Bready malt, biscuit, and maybe a little bit of honey. Floral and lightly grassy hops, yeast, and some hints of citrus zest.

Bottle to half-pint glass (shared with the Mrs.). Looks okay; a transparent gold with razor-thin white lacing. Smells and tastes skunky and doughy with a touch of hops and an average mouthfeel. Meh.

Interesting beer. Taste has notes of caramel and --very slightly-- lemon. My first Mission Street product...will have to try more now!

Bottlle, 33 cl, at Papsø’s. Slightly unclear golden with a small off white head. Sweet fruity aroma with a buttery malty backbone. Flavor is almost tropical fruity, quite sweet, refreshing with a crisp orange zesty sensation and a very light bitter finish.

Bottle 35,5 cl. Courtesy of Pinball. Pours golden with a slight haze and a white head. Biscuity malt aroma - very American. Medium body, some clean, sweet and good malts, a light fruitiness and a dry but never bitter finish. Enjoyable. 210113
