bhensonb (8991) - Woodland, California, USA - JUL 10, 2010
Bomber from a Roseville Trader Joes. Pours really hazy dirty orange/yellow with an off-white 4 finger foamy white head. Nice aromas of spice and banana. Medium body with average carbonation. Flavor is mostly wheat, citrus, spice and a small amount of banana. Very refreshing. Dare I say the 2-buck Chuck of craft beer?

Tmoney99 (8780) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUL 20, 2010
Bottle from Trader Joe’s - Cincy. Poured an hazy orange color with a large frothy white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate sour citrus, banana and clove aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture and lively carbonation. Medium sweet yeast flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Solid drinkable beer.

JoeMcPhee (7622) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 16, 2010
Bomber from Trader Joe’s. Deep yellow pour with a thick moussey white head. The nose is loaded with bright banana and melon as well as a lot of spicy wheat character. Thick body with a nice fruity finish. There is a sort of sweet spicy character. The beer is very cheap and hits all of the right notes. There’s not a whole lot to complain about here.

Bottle in the states, I think in NYC. Pours faintly hazy gold with a decent, white head. Solid and true hefe. Not too much more to say than that.

Drake (6491) - Ivy, Virginia, USA - AUG 10, 2010
Bomber from Trader Joe’s Glen Allen, VA. Pours a hazy orange-amber color with a thin head. Fair head retention and lacing. The aroma is yeasty and bready with mild spice and caramel. The taste is canned fruit salad, including pineapple and pear. Some bready notes. Thin-medium bodied. Meh.

Bottle. Banana, clove and wheat malt aroma - very nice. Cloudy amber color with moderate head. Minimally sweet banana, light clove and wheat malt flavor. Pretty good - just a bit light flavor-wise though.

Bottle. Hazy amber beer with an off-white head. Wheat and spice aroma with yeast and light banana. Wheat and clove flavor with yeast, banana, and light caramel. Medium bodied. Wheat and light caramel lingers with clove, light yeast, and light earth.

blutt59 (5685) - Dallas, Texas, USA - JAN 6, 2012
Bottled, thanks to bit bucket in trade, cloudy golden pour with good thick foam, heavy citrus , clove aroma, flavor is sweet yeasty bubblegum, wheat , fruity gum finish

riversideAK (5413) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - MAR 28, 2011
Light banana aroma, a little honey, wheat malt. Rather light and subdued fruity sweetness. Pours hazy orange, no head, lace, etc. The flavor is light wheat, banana, clove, and yeasty fruity sweetness. Light, easy to drink, not much effervescence or sharpness like something more authentic, but not bad for $1.99.

Cornfield (5276) - Oak Forest, Illinois, USA - APR 5, 2012
This poured a hazy straw body with a towering rocky head and left loads of lace on the glass. The aroma was fresh bananas, a light touch of clove, and a squirt of lemon. The flavor was bready, lots of bananas, a bit of bubblegum, a dash of glove, and a light lemony tartness. Considering the low price ($2.99 for a bomber), this may be my go-to brew this summer.
