This beer smells good. Based on smell alone I was all expecting a nice treat considering the price of this beer. Unfortunately fresh woodsy smell doesn’t translate to the flavor. It has an oily thin lacing and pours a light amber color that i would expect more from a pale ale. The taste is muddled. The hops are present, but they remind me of the hop pellets i used to use when home brewing. The mouthfeel is yeasty and gross. I won’t be buying this one in the future.

Nice floral hop aroma. Balance of nice malt and hops. Pretty good for house brand.

Mission St. IPA has a thin, cream-colored head, a mostly clear, somewhat bubbly, orange appearance, and a little bit of lacing left on the glass. The aroma is of piney hop resin, and the flavor is of that, plus sweet white bread. Bitterness is moderate. Mouthfeel is medium and slick, and Mission St. IPA finishes semi-dry, easy drinking, and refreshing. RJT

Reviewed from notes. The appearance had a deep amber colored body with a one finger white head. The head lasted a good half minute and leaves some minimal spiderweb lacing. The smell had some hops forward with some pine and malty/bready aspects coming slightly as the beer warms. The taste had a good combination of malts and hops. The palate sat about a medium on the body with nothing harsh on the tongue other than a normal American IPA bitter feel, fairly drinkable. Overall, this is a pretty good beer which is easy on the wallet. Though its nothing to scream about, it gets the job done as far as a decent priced American IPA.

Clear and amber colour with a fat bubbled white head. Very hoppy aroma with citrus and lighter pineapple and pinecones. On the palate it is bitter enough and classicially styled if a tad boring for the style. Decent.

Floral hop aroma and caramel malt. Taste is caramel malt with a sweetish finish and bitter on the sides of the tongue. Full flavored and pretty good. A bit on the malty side, but good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

For the price, this is awesome, not ranking up there with stone and "premium" IPAs, but its pretty close, 6.99 a six, value is a 10 on this, crisp, clean golden color, pretty hoppy but not over the top, nice bitterness and hits you at the end as well....very nice.
