The aroma is caramal and maybe (I mean very little) light chocolate. Not that sure though. The flavors are the same. very light and watered down. Not a memorable beer Do not drink this one. Aroma of caramel and some stale hoppiness. Flavor is light and sour, with little hoppiness and some mildly roasted caramel malts. Finishes sour and bitter. Meh. PickettsCharge (68), USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 7, 2008 Rather light looking for a Black & Tan. Nice head with some decent lacing though. Color is a very dark copper color. Slight malt aroma. Metallic flavor with a roasted malt aftertaste. Nothing really exciting to write home about this brew. johntreeter (122), Greenwood, Indiana, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 5, 2008 1qt. bottle. Pours a brownish dark amber color with a medium off white head that left average lacing. Fair of aroma malt and carmal with a old cloth scent to it. Pleasent taste with the malt and caramal except for that old cloth note and a tad sweet. A little light on the palate, watery on the texture, and a bit too much carbonation. An OK beer to sit by the river catching catfish. Not bad tasting, just a little thin and too much carbonation for my taste. Actually pretty easy drinking for cutting the grass on a hot day, problem is that isn’t exactly what I am looking for in a black and tan. Then again, what did I except buying "two beers" mixed in one bottle? MadIndian (997), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA
