Bottle into a goblet. Aroma is a light malt. Pour is a dark tan with a fine head. Taste is a, toasted roasty malt. Finish is a nice, roasted malt.

"a bit of an inbetween beer in quality and price (between macro & quality micro)...a little thin, roasted flavors but a little weakish. good beer as an intro to craft beer."

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Poured from the quart jug into a pint glass to drink. The beer had a brown to amber-grain color, was semi-clear with few bubbles, and had a small-to-average foamy tan head with modest retention, and decent cling and lacing. The beer had a roasty caramel malt aroma with notes of sugar and molasses, along with some earthy and grainy hops. It was a fairly sweet beer with malty caramel and bread flavors along with some mild earthy tones. Fairly wet and creamy on the palate with a watery, lighter mouthfeel and below average carbonation. Decent beer, and good delivery.

It had a deep crimson red color with good clarity when held up to light. On top is a tall and slow fading head. This head is light tan in color and hangs on well making some lacing on the glass as I drink. There is a light toasted malt with some caramel sweetness backed up with some herbal leafy hop notes. I also get a slight papery or a cardboard like oxidized presence in the nose. The flavor is a little light or thin but not overly so. I do pick up some toasted malt character with some light caramel like sweetness. Hops come on lightly and offer very little balance. There is only a slight herbal note towards the finish which is still mildly sweet with a slightly dull papery note. This rides in on a smooth and thinly textured body.

Lantratun oloinen ja makuinen. Hyvä Janojuoma. Hyvä yritys, lopputulos huono. Liian hieno pullo.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Clear semideep chestnut, with a thinnish light beige head. Bready toasty nose with a bit of cocoa and molasses, and toasted biscuit. Smooth semisweet flavour with a semi light body, featuring notes of toast and lagery biscuit with a wee nutty earthiness. A medium brown ale, basically. Nothing amazing here.

Poured a beautiful color brown. Wonderful aroma of malt and beer. Amazing sweet malty taste. Actually, this beer is not very good. Hard to get through the 1st glass.

Bland. This beer is not very good. There’s no carbonation. It has a cool bottle though.

Big ol’ bottle. Pours a clear brown color with a small-to-moderate head on it. There is a slight bit of roasting in the nose of this, but the smell is almost nonexistent. Taste is slightly roasty, but also has a bit of corn to it. Really tastes like mixing two pretty bad beers. Doesn’t work.
