Mississippi Mud Lager Beer is a delightfully refreshing example of a traditional style lager beer. Mississippi Mud Lager displays a significant hop aroma and the long lagering period adds a smoothness that makes this beer a perfect accompaniment to any meal or enjoyed alone.

Got this from a Georgia workmate. I love the MM B&T, so this is a chance to isolate the T (and A). Copper colored, with aroma and taste of caramel malt, hopcit, and toffee. Great jug (which I added to my bottle collection). Worth a try, especially with the big bottle and the affordable price.

UPDATED: JAN 19, 2014 Standard lager. Thank you for telling me it was "lager beer". Bottle is a gimmick, makes it stand out among the rest, but the beer itself does not. Aroma of alcohol, hops, and malt. Flavor slightly bitter, mild on the tongue, with nothing very distinctive about it.

Pours gold with a white head. Smells of apples, sweet malt, some corn. Tastes sweet and watery with a stray hop or 2 on the finish.

Strangely, the ’Mississippi Brewing Company’ is located in Utica, NY. Hoppy taste, rather sweet. Alcohol flava sort of bums me out. Not like other lagers. Much maltier. Mega-malty nose.

Pretty mediocre. Amber color, notably caramelized flavors and aromas, somewhat buttery or butterscotchy but not diacetyl I don’t think, just a byproduct of the malty caramels. Light finish and palate.

Pretty fair ’Lager’. Malt nose, dark amber color, decent head and some lace. Clean and fresh, with some hop presence, and a somewhat dry finish. Quite a nice bottle as all the ladies at work wanted an ’MT’ for display. Their Black and Tan is a pretty fair brew also. Both beers fall in the ’Drinkable’ category, good not great.

Malty, fairly soft and sharp with a slightly dry bitter finish. Feel more like an amber.

Yellow beer with a standard fizzy rapidly disappearing head. Good solid lager nose with a nice flavor of malts. Rather run of the mill though with good finish.

Not bad and not great. Plain flavor and really cool bottle.

This is a pretty solid lager. Clean crisp taste, notes of hops throughout. It was good, but it didnt really grab me (not many lagers have though). A top choice on a hot day. Cool bottle too.
