On tap at Mister Söröző (Baross str.). Dark-golden colour with massive white head and low carbonation. Very raw yeast aroma and taste of bread. Nothing extra just a homebrewed beer which has it’s own character. Not bad in the low-price category.

Frisch herber Antrunk, leicht hopfig. Etwas milder werdend, die Hopfigkeit bleibt bestehen während die Herbe abnimmt. Etwas grasig, weiter betont frisch. Die Hopfigkeit nimmt zum Ende leicht zu, ebenso leicht erscheint eine bittere Note, die aber von der nun erneuten Herbe übertrumpft wird. Aufgrund der minimalen Malzigkeit nimmt die Frische etwas ab. Dennoch: Gelungen. Test vom 13.8.2008, Gebinde: Fass Noten: 11,8,10,9,-,9 - 9,21

Mister Söröző, Budapest, Drégelyvár u. (ez volt a 2. Mister a brewpub után, régen elég sokszor megfordultam itt, de mai napig nem változott). Közepesen sötét árnyalatú arany színben pompázik, habja a felvert tojásfehérjéhez hasonlatos, normális és nem kopott pohárban szervírozva igen szép látvány lenne. Illata elég édeskés, malátás és picit virágos. Íze is inkább malátásan édeskés, de érezni még egy kis mézet is, de a komlós friss keserűségtől könnyen iható lesz. Közepesen testes utóíze kenyeres, jól csúszik, azonban nagy hibája ez a szúrós karbonáció, ami erősen belerondít a képbe. Finom lager, ráadásul egy teljesen magyar mikrofőzdéből, ár-érték arányban nehezen verhető. Az ide járó szakadt alkoholistákat sokkal jobban becsülöm, mint az Adambräu-t fogyasztó fajtát. Emellett az is biztos, hogy ha a Belváros turistalehúzó éttermeiben és bárjaiban csapolnák 600-ért, mint magyar házi sört, mindenki elismerősen bólogatna...

Draught at the Keleti railwaystation, Bp. Golden colour, average/soft sparkling, fine pored and quickly diminishing froth. Smell of yeast and grain, taste’s sweetish and sharp. Flavour’s mainly yeasty with some light aroma of grain, finish’s moderate bitter and sourish. Body’s kinda medium, texture’s thin. Passes (better than more other beers by bigger hungarian massbrewers) especially for its cheap price.

i taste it at batthyány square, but... i dont like it; it is very heavy yeasty, and there is something flavour like band-aid, It has small off-white head which is fully diminishing, and last fair lacing, watery texture, soft carbonation, metallic aftertaste i dont understand you, maybe i have to try once more

Draught at Mister Sörözö in Budapest. Mild fruity aroma. Almost clear golden colour. OK fruity flavour, mild but with a little malt flavour.

Yellow coloured, small to medium airy white head, dusty nose. Low carbonation. Pleasant hoppy, slight herbal and watery with grassy notes in the bitter finish. Nothing special here. There’s also Mister Sör on Keleti reilway station.

Poured a clear yellow-golden body with a medium sized white head that went away at a medium pace. Typical nose for a microbrew from this area, hoppy, slightly dusty, finely grainy. Well hopped, herbal, if a bit too light, slightly soapy.Filtering was a mistake I reckon.

UPDATED: JAN 18, 2009 My Bottom Line:
Crisp, biscuity pils malts work in tandem with spicy, diplomatic Saaz-like hops in this balanced and fresh lager of Czech inspiration.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam draws a nice collar around the clear gold.
-Carbonation is prickly and active.
-The hops offer spicy, herbal notes with citrusy angles, providing sufficient bitterness.
-This is perfectly clean and very quaffable.
