COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Black, full bodied, and very flavourful. A medium strength stout, very smooth on the palate and exhibiting a pronounced bitter and distinct hop aroma, a well balanced milk stout - great for a winter’s evening or any other time!

No head to speak of. Jet-black beer. Lactose traceable in the nose. Milkchocolate, thouroughly roasted grains & chaff, chocolate wafers. Slightly sourish onset for medium-sweet, roasted/burnt main flavour. Remarkably little bitterness, and the one in the finish is indistinctly hoppy. Again bit lactic. Spritzy, feels more carbonated than it appears. Smooth, slightly creamy MF, but not very well-bodied. OK milkstout. Many thanks to M&L!

Plastic bottle at home. Appearance: pitch black beer, nice stable mocha head. Nose: little coffee, some chocolate, but already rather watery in the nose. Taste: typical stout taste, though more watery, little smoked towards the end. Good stout for only 5% alcohol!

Plastic bottle @ deans crappy music tasting. Aroma is burnt rubber, burnt molasses, not good. Flavour is sourish liquorice and burnt roasted rubber.

Plastic bottle at the Deanso crappy music tasting. This really was truly awful. I would not waste my time drinking the whole sample.

Bottle shared at Deanso’s bad music tasting. Pours dark brown with a ring tan head. Aroma of rubber, roasted malts and some garbage and rot. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Really not good, couldn’t drink a glass.

Black with a thin, quick disappearing beige, somewhat clingy lacy head. Smells of stale malt, rubber, capers. No rosary stoutness. Thin watery light body. Tastes of dirt, rot, char, plastic. Burnt rubber and plastic. Something went wrong putting it in a plastic bottle.

Sampled from plastic bottle thanks to Vaisha @ Dean plays crappy music tasting. Opaque pitch black color, small beige to light brown head. Smell and taste malts, something really weird, fruits. Medium body and carbonation.
