COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A light (both in colour & body), refreshing Pilsner-type beer, which is sweetish and light on the palate. A slightly aromatic beer which is lightly hopped and VERY invigorating on a hot day. Also a favourite with the ladies.

On tap (0.5l) at the brewpub in Cape Town, South Africa... Clear light golden color, average head... Mild, little bit watery, hop aroma... For a light beer quite okay, but nothing special... Hop ending...

On tap at a market in Cape Town. A clear golden colour with a high, frothy, white head. An aroma of malt, grass, hay and hopa. The taste i medium bitter. A medium body, sticky and oily texture, average carbonation and a medium long, dry finish.

Tap@Mitchell’s Waterfront Brewery, Cape Town. Pale golden beer with a reasonable head. The aroma is citric and honey like, the flavour is yeasty and gently hopped. Overall a nice yeasty and gently bitter beer.

Draught at a waterfront restaurant in Mossel Bay, South Africa. Also available in plastic bottles at off licenses. This is a pleasant mid-strength lager that has a noticeably more bitter malt backbone than the usual macros. Mild hop bitterness in the finish. Worth seeking out when on the Garden Route.

ON tap at waterfront taproom. Clear gold with a nice creamy white head. Light aroma akin to a pilsner with a light hop profile. This is not my favorite style, but the flavor is so easy going and refreshing and perfectly inoffensive and clean. Smooth, perfect carbonation; medium to light bodied on the palate. Overall: perfect session beer.

Draught at The Old Watermill, Knysna. Golden coloured. Eggs and bread in the aroma. Soft bready flavour with quite some hops and a dry finish. Soft mouthfeel. Very refreshing and tasty.

1litre brown polycarbonate bottle. Abv as stated on the label 4,3%. Pours amber yellow with minimal white head that disappears quickly. Aroma is malt, yeast and sweet melon (?!). Malty, floral hops and fruity flavour - melon comes to mind, not unpleasant mind you, just a bit weird in a lager. Medium bitterness. Light bodied, soft carbonation. A well made, drinkable lager (once you get over that quite peculiar melon flavour).
