Bottle. Not much aroma- maybe some dusty old hops, light caramel, mashed banana. Fairly high carbonation, creamy buzz. Citrus, mellow toffee. Doesn't exactly come together, but you can sense it's trying.

330ml bottle from a friend. Poured into a shaker pint. Golden orange color with a slight bit of haze and a fairly nice soapy head. Slight toasted malt aroma with a smidgen of citrus. Soft, slightly creamy mouthfeel with a bready quality. Dry crisp finish. Not all that interesting.

Bottle from an upscale Japanese supermarket in Iidabashi. Clear pale amber, white foam head. Nose is hoppy, something like Sorachi Ace. Little lychee, cereal grain malt, toasted grains, some metallic even though it was in a bottle. taste is light crisp clean beer, almost a lager but with fruity and grassy hop. Lychee, some citrous bitterness, green leafy dry hop on the tongue. Nice light but hoppy beer with some nice fruity hop.

On tap at the GJBF in Osaka 2014. A slightly opaque gold, thin filmy head. Rich bready malt nose. Soft mouthfeel, the flavor is kind of average but satisfying.

Bottle (Tokyo)
Golden-amber color, small steady white head. Harsh, malty aroma. Light-bodied, crisp carbonation. Pale malty, some English hoppyness. Clean malty flavor, although aroma was outputting.

Bottle. Sugary sweet nose, light caramel, tinge of old citrus fruit, weeds. Light hazy orange/amber color. Sweet malt initial, a range of fruity notes, some citrus, mostly dull light stone fruit, a nit of hoppiness straining to get through. Thin-medium body. Okay. Has some definite fruity tang. Flavors are not developed very much.

floral, amber, cloudy, minimal head, light sweetness, medium bitterness, lightly sour, salty, medium body, sticky. This is an odd beer. Nearly odorless. Quite unappealing in appearance, looks as though dirt was in my bottle. Not distasteful, but a very homemade, again nearly "dirty" taste. Probably a good beer around the campfire or an otherwise natural setting. Seems out of place in my sterile apartment.

350 ml bottle from Takashimaya @ Nagoya station. Aroma is... funny. I guess there is some malt, cardboard glue, raw potato. I would have expected a bit more hop character but it’s not really there. Taste is also... funny. There is some old grass, pear sweetness, finally ending up in a couple of bitter notes from hops. Perhaps a bit too sweet for my taste, although drinkable. Interesting experience, no regrets but not really sure if I want to repeat that again.

Bottled. Light to medium amber color. Nose of caramel malt and some citrus hops. Ok caramel and toffee flavors, fruity, orange, some grassy hop. Not bad, but pretty lame, and again, \500? Yona Yona is half the price and much better.
