0,5 l bottle BB 04. Jun 13 from Liebick Getränke roasty, toast, chocolate, coffee, spruce, herbs, earthy, woody, red-brown color, clear and with a tan frothy and stable head. light sweetness, medium bitterness, lightly sour, medium body, creamy, average carbonation, long finish very nice Dunkles

Bottle shared with McTapps. Malty from the start with some nuts in the aroma. Carbo is medium. Not spectacular but a good one from first to last.

Dark amber-brown in colour with low head and medium body ( bottle-label is way too old-school for me). Nose of malt. Taste of malt, dark grains, mild pumpernickel and nuts. It really is easy to drink and the carboantion is mild. But it just will never be my favourite beer, because it is quite boring and average.

Bottle from Hol’Ab, pours a deep mahogany with a clingy beige head. A little coffee and prune on the nose, toffee and dark dried fruit on the palate, rich and slightly sweet. Very tasty.

Bottle. Color dark red with medium white head. Aroma sweet, caramel, roasted. Taste sweet, bread, caramel. Light body.

Malt aroma. Pours clear brown with frothy brown head which disappears fast. Tastes sweet caramel with abrupt bitter finish. Carbonation is flat and texture is medium. Overall, its a nice dark beer.

Pours a dark amber with a small brown top. Aroma is mostly roasted malts with a small hint of hop.

Die Schaumkrone hält mittelmäßig-gut, farblich ist der Körper kräftig braun. Es riecht nach einem typischen bayrischen Dunkel: malzig, dunkelmalzig und süßlich, dazu etwas fruchtig. Geschmacklich gibt es im Antrunk eine dunkelmalzige fruchtigkeit die an Pflaume erinnert, im weiteren Verlauf passt sich die Pflaumigkeit ein wenig dem gesamten Bier an und wird cremig dunkelmalzig-fruchtig. Insgesamt ein rundes sehr süffiges Bier mit einer schönen Geschmacksintensivität. Fazit: Lecker! Test vom 8.1.2011, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 12,11,12,11,13,11 - 11,35

The beer in the glass is dark copper-colored, with high, fine creamy off-white head. It smells nutty-roasty, hoppy and malty-bitter. Starts sligthly roasty, malty-sweet, nutty and hoppy-bitter. The middle part shows sweet, slightly nutty and hoppy-musty with lots of roasted malts. Goes into a hoppy-metallic, fermented-fruity and sourish finish!

A robust, but immensely drinkable dunkel with plenty of cocoa and dark fruit flavors
