MoritzF (7402) - Bochum, - SEP 7, 2008
(bottle) Clear, dark brown colour with a reddish shine and a medium-sized beige foamy head. Smells initially like a Dunkel: sweet toast-malty nose with caramel and a tinge of alcohol. Sweet, slightly bitter flavour, robust toast-malty, slightly bready taste with caramel; medium to full bodied with a smooth mouthfeel; sweet toast-malty finish with a present but non-disturbing alcohol presence (15.08.07).

Ungstrup (24024) - Oamaru, NEW ZEALAND - SEP 4, 2009
Bottled. A deep red beer with a medium orangey head. The aroma has notes of malt, pumpernickle bread, and brown sugar. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and pumpernickle bread, as well as lighter notes of cinnamon and other spices, leading to a dry, bitter, and spicy finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.
