fiulijn (14552) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 11, 2010
Tasting at Papsø’s
Pale yellow color. This mead from Mjødgård puts honey in front, before some of the phenol aroma appears. The body is lighter than the average for a mead, there is some floreal sweet honey, still not impressive, with a light herbal touch and too much alcohol; also a light feeling of plastic; weak final. Inaccurate.

MiP (13598) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - FEB 20, 2010
Bottle, 15.5%. Mild sweet aroma. Almost clear yellow colour. The flavour is sweet, has a little white wine note. The mouthfeel is rather thin for a mead. Has a bit of bitterness in the finish along with some alcohol. Rough finish.
