COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Ett mycket speciellt, kanske helt unikt mjöd gjort av lingon, honung och ytterst lite vatten i regi av Niklas Gotthardsson. 800 kg lingon från västerbottens skogar och 170 kg honung har gett oss 800 l mjöd. Då både lingon och honung har konserverande effekt, var det inte helt lätt att jäsa mjödet. Det sägs dock att nordens första mjöd, ett fynd från bronsåldern, innehöll lingon. Ett väldigt välbalanserat mjöd, där lingonen dominerar smaken. Den klarröda färgen påminner om hösten då lingonen plockades.

Clear apricot color with hints of red, no head. Tart, dry cider, apple scent. Tart, sweet, apple, red berries, sweet taste. Medium to tart mouthfeel, low bitterness. Finishes tart.

(Bottle) Reddish pink colour with no head. Fruity nose with lingonberries, raspberries and yeasty hints of old sweaty socks. Fruity taste with notes of lingonberries, honey and a mild acidity in the finish. Generous flavours of wild berries combined with a spicy yeast character. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Nice one.

Bottled. Pinkish amber colour with no head. Aroma is big time lingonberry with some sweetish honeylike notes balancing the sourness up. Flavour is lingonberry tartness and sourness mixed with sweet honey and some slight spicyness. Rather bodied and quite thick feel to it. Yet smooth. Feels like a bit more than just 9.2 %.

Bottled at SBWF. Pale pink/golden. Elegant tart lingonberry aroma. Very aromatic with some honey sweetness andntartening lingonberry flavour. Rather intense, yet mild and balanced.
