COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Moa Blanc Evolution is bottle fermented in the Belgian-style with a small amount of coriander added during its extended maturation time giving it a unique spiciness. Described as a rich, mouth-filling beer, it’s really a true wheat lover’s beer and a staple of the Moa Reserve range.

Tasting Notes
Moa Blanc Evolution has a slight fruity aroma and a crisp, refreshing finish. Stone fruit and hazelnut flavours compliment the distinctive dominant spicy and phenolic characters. With a subtle hop aroma and bitterness, Moa Blanc Evolution is well paired with lightly aged cheeses, smoked and savoury meals, or on its own for a satisfying pint. Moa Blanc Evolution is best served at approximately 4˚C in a pilsner glass.

Bottle shared by adneilsen. Pours clear golden orange with a small, fizzy white head, short retention with light lacing. Aroma is earthy and spicy hops, cookie and straw malt, pear and apple esters. Flavor is malty with tart fruity esters, light hops and bitterness with a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation.

sooooooo much better than the blanc, this tastes like a proper witbier. while it’s not particularly distinct it has all the wonderful sweet, alcoholic, raisiny banana goodness that you’d expect from a belgian. very good.

Bottle at CGarvie tasting. It pours pale yellow with a small white head. The nose is straw, hay, floral, potpourri, underlying sweetness and spice. The taste is straw, smooth sweetness, floral, light spice, white grape and some alcohol warmth. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Pretty light, delicate and easy drinking.

Appearance: very hazy golden color, thick white head that's very dense, minimal lacing Aroma: coriander, orange peel, some malty grain, faint Taste: orange, tinge of sourness, slightest bit of bitterness at the end Palate: moderate c02, medium mouth feel, slightly orange aftertaste Overall: this beer is good and highly drinkable but it could use some more flavor ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma: Light fruity hop aroma. Appearance: Pale golden straw, slightly cloudy, very large cloud like white head. Taste: Not what I was expecting at all, very subtle hop flavours, light fruit flavours with light bitterness, individually weak elements but work very well together, extremely drinkable. Palate: Very smooth in the mouth, a bit too light and airy. Slightly bitter coppery aftertaste. Overall: Extremely drinkable beer, weak aroma but very well balanced individual components make this a great beer.

Bottle. Light golden with a bit of an over-carbonated fiizzy white head that billows up a bit, but not quite as much at the St. Joes Tripel. However, like the tripel, this one seems a bit under-attenuated. Lots of overripe fruits, a bit of a vegetal character, some spice, coriander. The pale and pilsner were pretty money, but so far I have not enjoyed the Belgian style stuff from Moa.

Refrigerated dark green 358 ml bottle corked and caged poured into a weizen glass. Pours slightly hazy bright golden with medium bright white head fluffy head, and big fluffy white lacing. Medium body, hight carbonation, and estery aroma with a hint of skunk. Taste is estery citrus, some coriander, and some skunk. Please put this in a brown bottle. Great palate, but falls short in everything else.

This is my first corked Moa beer. I heard that the corked ones are better, so I was excited to give this a shot. I also found a new beer they recently released called Breakfast. It is also corked, so I grabbed a bottle of that. This beer is made with coriander, and is LOADED with aroma. The flavor is nice, too. Think Blue Moon with more flavor. These, as I drink them, are getting better. I just can’t wait to drink the stout aged in Pinot Noir barrels!
