COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Moa Breakfast is a blend of premium wheat malt, floral Nelson hops and cherries. A very refreshing and fruity lager specifically designed as a European-style breakfast beer but more commonly enjoyed as a mid-afternoon beverage in New Zealand. Although not always.

Tasting Notes
Moa Breakfast is a wheat beer based lager with a subtle, sweet cherry aroma and taste. Hints of almond, banana and vanilla characters can also be detected. Low bitterness levels and an absence of strong malt characters emphasise these fruit flavours. Moa Breakfast can either be poured carefully off the lees or alternatively with the lees mixed in if a stronger yeast character is desired. Moa Breakfast is best served at approximately 4°C in a pilsner glass.

Bottle. Amber beer with a cream head. Sweet malt and fruity aroma. Malt and tropical fruit flavor with light grain. Medium bodied. Malt and light grain lingers with tropical fruits.

375ml bottle in a weizen. Pours golden with a lacy, off-white head. Aroma of wheat and caramel malts and cherries and floral hops. The cherries are added lightly to not overpower the wheat beer. Average texture. More beers with fruit added should learn from this one and not add too much.

Bright pale golden with a standing head. Big aroma with the kind of freshness you expect from a fresh cut cold melon. Smells of that old school yellow gum, tropicals and a defined cherry essence that blends perfectly and balanced. Medium full nectar with excellent carbonation. Excellent nose to tongue follow through. A bit of kiwi style acidity and mild bittering on the end. A unique specimen.

Pours clear pale straw with a thin white head. Aromas of cherry juice, "hops". Tastes like fruit sherbert and soda water. Light body, lively carbonation and a short finish.

Huge cork explosion high in the air to Vince’s backyard. The wheat pours mostly clear lemon color with a white head. The aroma brings sweet natural cherry bubble game, as Vince said like you are at a carnival, with a bit of underlying wheat lemon like notes. The flavor of starts off sweet and a bit bubbly in the mouth with the cherry flavors settling a bit floral and springy on the tongue, velvety and pleasant.

Slightly hazy golden amber. Strong fruit aroma, wheat in there as well. Sour wheat and an almost candy, fruity touch. Bizarre - but nice. Leaves a sour after taste. It’s different, but I like it.

Cork and caged bottle, aromas of cherries, some citrus, and a touch of wheat. Flavor is cherries, whet, touch of citrus peel, and a hint of raspberry. Also had a slightly weird yeast flavor, some of tartness and nuts. Interesting wheat beer.

Pours pale gold with a large, fading head. Nose shows bubblegum, cherries, floral notes, banana, lollies, roses. Seems pretty artificial though. Similar flavours; bubblegum, cherries, musk sticks. Too artificial and sweet. Way too much carbonation. Definitely interesting but a bit cloying.

333 c&c from Malt & Vine. Pours hazy light gold with a slight, fizzy white head. Nice aroma of mixed floral and cherry. With a little banana in the background. Med body, almost. Flavor is more bitter than not, and the floral/fruit combo is almost like perfume. The fruit is arguably cherry, and there’s no significant sugar present, so it’s perfume, fruit and dry. Finishes like that.
