COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Moa Breakfast is a blend of premium wheat malt, floral Nelson hops and cherries. A very refreshing and fruity lager specifically designed as a European-style breakfast beer but more commonly enjoyed as a mid-afternoon beverage in New Zealand. Although not always.

Tasting Notes
Moa Breakfast is a wheat beer based lager with a subtle, sweet cherry aroma and taste. Hints of almond, banana and vanilla characters can also be detected. Low bitterness levels and an absence of strong malt characters emphasise these fruit flavours. Moa Breakfast can either be poured carefully off the lees or alternatively with the lees mixed in if a stronger yeast character is desired. Moa Breakfast is best served at approximately 4°C in a pilsner glass.

Cherry, bubblegum, banana and vanilla notes. The palate has sweet cherries, bubblegum and then the wheat. Very slight bitterness and gentle malt towards end of palate. Very enjoyable and different lager. Perhaps slightly sweet to have more than a two, but would be enjoyable at breakfast as the name suggests ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This beer is one of a kind. The nose is cherry kool-aid but the beer is dry and crisp. The cherry is only experienced in the nose. Very light straw color with striking white head. A good looking beer with a champagne-like character. Not overly bitter, slightly sour and refreshing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours yellowish with a foamy head. Aroma of sweet fruity caramel notes, cherries, hints of banana. Taste is sweet and juicy with notes of caramel, cherries and banana. Finish is sugary, artificial and juicy. Quite weird juicy cherry-banana lager

375 ml bottle @ HBF2013. Pours a clear golden colour with a white head. Aroma is rather strong and pungent with dried apricot, mango and citrus. Flavour of sweet fruits, floral hops, mango and passion fruit. Medium bodied, slick mouthfeel and a fruity finish with some pungent notes. Refreshing stuff.

Aroma has fruit candy and quite nothing else. Flavour is odd – feels like gummy bears in water. Also some grainy feeling. Weird stuff, this has lots of fruit candy but does not feel sweet.

Ruby golden ale. White head. Aroma is like mixed fruit juice, mostly orange with some cranberry or something. Flavor is fruity and at times is good but at others seems chemy or glue-like. Having this breakfast is not a great idea but it doesn’t necessarily suck either.
