COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Moa The Hoppit displays lots of New Zealand hop characters, passionfruit, pine (herbaceous), grapefruit and fresh, sweet tropical hop aromas. A golden, orange hue with a great hop haze. Rich malt tones, almost toasted with a lingering marmaladey bitterness that displays a sharp but smooth, sweet finish. Dry hopped seven times over two weeks, Moa The Hoppit is massive on the senses.

Draft at the Syb Pig in Boca Raton. Pours a deep orange-brown with significant haze. The one finger pillow head nearly look like a nitro head. Lots of lacing spider webs. The aroma was sweet fruits, pine hops, sweet malts, bread, biscuit. The taste wasnít bad, but it was kind of a head scratch for a DIPA. The beer is sweet malts, tones of apricot or other fruits, and no real hop profile. Even the finish was sweet and not very hoppy. I suppose the balance was just favored heavily towards malts and not the hops. Thick, creamy mouth. Sweet finish.

Draft @ World of Beer Dadeland. Pours clear amber color with off white head. Aromas of citrus, pine and caramel. Overly sweet caramel malt flavor with bitter grapefruit and some pine. Medium body with average carbonation and syrupy mouthfeel.

Draught. Golden with a fleeting head. Aroma is sweet and very wet ripe tropical hoppy. Flavor follows with strong resin hippy bitter middle. I guess the flavor is passion fruit. Medium body and carb. It is fairly mono dimensional. Not bad by any means but not my preferred IPA style.

Sampled at VCBW 2014 pouring a copper color with a large off-white head that leaves some nice lacing. Aroma is grainy with herbs and fruit. Taste is a grapefruit and herbal hop bitterness with a tropical fruit and malty sweetness. Medium bodied with decent carbonation. Tasty and well crafted DIPA that I highly recommend for others to enjoy.

Pours a copper amber color in the glass. Gorgeous tropical fruit hops aroma. More clean citrus and tropical fruit flavors balanced with a nice toasted malt note. Overall, this is a nice brew..

Pours a hazy orange with a small white head. Smells of tropical fruit, grapefruit. Taste is bitter and sweet - fruity hops - dragon fruit and grapefruit subdued malt backing

Draft at Binnyís South Loop. Golden amber color. Slightly sticky head. Iím unable to drink such a sweet, caramelized sugars, and abrasive hop bitterness. Messy fruit syrupiness. Donít enjoy the hops with the mess of sweetness and strong alcohol.

Draft at Burger Bach in the Village This may be my first new Zealand beer. The ale poured a cloudy amber with a nice white head formation. The white head turned to lacing down the glass. There was a warm bitterness that at first was citrus like or floral hops. The finish was more pine resin like. A complex balanced beverage with an excellent ABV. The medium body ale had average carbonation. This is very drinkable Imperial IPA.
