On tap. Pours a medium gold with a white head and lacing. It has a strong tropical fruit hop aroma that is also very present in the flavor along with a solid malt backbone over a smooth, medium body.

I was pleasantly surprised at how viscous and oily this beer was. It looked for all money like a golden pale ale, smelled like one and tasted like one, but occupied a place in the heavy hitters of the lager family. Was lingeringly bitter with tropical fruit, citrus and spicy resin. It left goodish lace down the glass and a hankering for more of the same... which is all you can ask for really.

On tap at Apex, pours a cloudy opaque golden with a small white head. Aroma of grassy hops, some biscuity malt, and more grass. Flavour is very hoppy, with loads of grassy hops, floral hops, and just enough biscuity malt. Extremely fresh and grassy tasting, finishing on grassy hops. Great stuff.

another one of moa’s fairly good reserve range, good hop bite with a solid malt backing. seems a bit odd to categorise this as a pilsner, but that’s how it’s advertised so there you go.
