3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Bov (7364) - Bienne, - FEB 11, 2011
courtesy of Laurent Mousson; labelled Moa Original - cloudy blond colour and with a little white foam left; fresh aromatic hoppy aroma with notes of dust and undefined herbs; medium-bodied and with a very low bitterness, fizzy aftertaste of dust and almonds - a good surprise
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 davidm (1370) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - MAY 27, 2012
Bottle from Lygon street shop. Nicely hopped, with good balance. Aromas of citrus, wet leaves, and hay. Taste is sweet and bitter, with average length. Palate is oily, and medium bodied. Yellow, with a frothy head.
4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 BlackHaddock (1709) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - MAY 24, 2012
Brought back by my parents from a world cruise: green 375ml bottle, best before 21 Oct 2013. Poured into a Duvel glass on 23 May 2012.
Really impressed with this beer: golden with a huge white head.
Great tasting brew with a yeasty, piney nose. It may well be classed as a german Pilsner by the brewers but it carries a lot more bite, flavour and body than any other beer I’ve had in that style.
Another reason why I’d like to visit New Zealand.

Pale yellow poor with pure fluffy white head. Brilliant hops creating a lively well balance crisp bitter beverage
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Oakes (10202) - Gibsons, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 6, 2012
Hazy pale. The aroma is quite yeasty with a nice pear fruitiness, but also some band-aidy phenols. Full body for the style, with lots of yeasty accents. No special character, here, though. The yeast dries it out quite a bit.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Syzzer (307) - Oregon, USA - APR 3, 2012
Highly carbonated pale pilsner lager. It has a great white fluffy head on it. The overall impression is bitterness. The smell is of slightly sour cereal. The color is a light but bright yellow. 4-j 6-bd
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Pyobon (570) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - MAR 31, 2012
(bottle) Poured hazy straw coloured with a big white head. Rich and complex aroma with spices and sweet esters. Light body with plentiful bright carbonation. Flavour starts lightly fruity (citrus with banana hints) and moves to a nice complex spicy bitter finish. Overall a very impressive and drinkable beer.

Bottle. Hazy goldenrod. Aroma of subdued citrus pith. Palate finishes a little buttery and not as clean and crisp as the nose suggests. Comes across as refreshing because of the high carbonation. Not bad. Has a saison character.

4.8 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20 walkingstd (20) - - MAR 4, 2012
An exciting pilsner/ saison style. Very herby nose, mildly spiced. Purchased a 1.5l magnum of it would you believe? Easy drinking and well balanced, bitterness of hops gives way to a
Smooth finish

This is an interesting brew, sweet hop aroma on the nose, it’s bittering finish from champagne yeast also makes it pils/saison in style. Mouth feel is great from natural carbonation this is a great brew and worth trying

3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 StuartCarter (16) - Alabama, USA - FEB 25, 2012
Aroma: clean bitterness. Appearance: beautiful cloudy gold colour with streaming bubbles like champagne. Taste: crisp, dry bitterness with a delicate lingering bitterness and subtle malt character. A wonderfully different beer that drinks much more like a champagne! Serve in champagne flute for the full effect.
