COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Moa Methode is bottle fermented and conditioned to give a natural, more consistent carbonation and flavour. Due to the natural brewing process of Methode Moa, a light, beneficial sediment will remain. This sediment protects the beer from premature aging and leaves full, slightly spicy characters on the palate.

Tasting Notes
Moa Methode is a German style pilsner with a high bitterness balanced with a relatively full mouth feel. Citrus hop characters dominate aroma with the presence of fresh bread yeast notes. It can either be poured carefully off the lees or alternatively with the lees mixed in if a strong yeast character is desired. Moa Methode is a complex pilsner best served in a pilsner glass at approximately 6˚C to maximise aromatic release.

33cl bottle from Appellation Wines. Pours a cloudy yellow colour with a generous head and steady carbonation - you can tell it is well bottle conditioned. The nose is very lemony with some sweetcorn. The taste is more of the same, lemon, going into yoghurt, maybe some meadow flowers. The palate is very good indeed - good creamy body, some bitterness kicks through the middle and finishes really fresh. Overall, very satisfying indeed.

12.7 fl oz / 375ml bottle into a pint glass. Served cold. Aroma: Some mild skunk. Besides that, just some light malt and mild hop. Appearance: Bright yellow translucent body with a large, but diminishing, foamy white head. Taste: Wonderful light, citrus-y hops! It’s interesting; the hops are definitely present, but they are light and refreshing and add just the right amount of bitterness to balance a pretty nice malt presence. Palate: Medium body, but plenty of character. Moderate, citrus-y finish. Overall: Fantastic beer. A wonderful example of what all pilseners should be.
