Dark lager. Seductive flavours of chocolate and richly roasted coffee beans dominate, with a long, smooth finish.

Bottle. Dark brown with a beige head. Aroma of dark caramel and coffee. Taste has some chocolate as well. A little overcarbonated, but a swirl improves things and makes the lovely head return. Dries out at the end but only a slight spiciness suggests bitterness. Not really my sort of thing.

A clear brown/black colored beer, with a thick beige head. The aroma of some chocolate malt with sweet fruits, some cherries. The taste of some chocolate bitter and cherries. The aftertaste is bitter with sweet.

Pours dark brown with a thick head. Aroma is bready malt with some molasses. Bready taste with some funk, maybe due to the green bottle and the long trip to the US. Good, not great.

Bottle from Plonk, Canberra. Very tasty, malt-driven lager. Aromas of caramel, grain, and chocolate. Taste is sweet, with light bitterness, and good length. Palate is silky, and medium bodied. Black, with a frothy head.

750 ml. bottle. Pours a medium beige head of good duration, over a clear, dark brown (SRM 30) body...nose is light cereal, tiny amounts of coffee, chocolate...taste is mainly cereal malts, with hints of cocoa, finishing dry....mouth feel light, carbonation high. It is dark, has more cereal flavors but little else. BJCP 6/3/11/4/6

Bottle shared with 4 friends plenty of head. Dark colour. Drinkable but I was hoping for more oomph.
