COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Moa Noir is a traditionally brewed European style dark lager with an abundance of distinct aromas and flavours. Chocolate and richly roasted coffee beans dominate the senses with a full flavoured palate, giving Moa Noir a long smooth finish. A perfect beer for the changing of seasons.

Tasting Notes
Moa Noir is a European style dark lager/ Munchner Dunkel. It is a dark brown beer with hues of red and a characteristic strong white foam. Malt dominates with chocolate, coffee and biscuit flavours apparent. Bitterness is low to emphasise malt flavours. Subtle bitterness rounds out the after taste and mouth feel. Hop aroma is minimal. Moa Noir is best served at approximately 6˚C in a pilsner glass.

notalush (4638) - Denver, Colorado, USA - DEC 14, 2008
Pours a dark ruby - the aroma is doughy, nutty, with a slight earthy must, fruitiness and vegetal character - full but soft carbonation in the mouth - almost like a brown ale in flavor, with strong nutty flavor, moderate herbal bitterness - a little chalky and dry on the back end - slight hints of cocoa and bread at the end as well - earthy - an interesting and underrated beer.

Attractive tea-amber colour with lasting head. Grain yeast and hop aroma. Interesting herbal yeast flavour with some grain and hop. Somewhat thin and airy. Hard to place as a dark lager.

(750ml bottle) Purchased at Hillside. Pours a brown, creamy head atop a black body. Nose of nothing. Very highly carbonated and slightly sour. Not terribly complex and somewhat disappointing for this brewery. --- reviewed on RateBeer.com

Bottle split with the woody’s crew. Hazy mahogany pour with ring of tan head. Nose of Maple, dark berry, molassis. Flavor has a sour effect, nutty, and and malty. Not that good though. Possible infection on this one too.
