Hazy gold colour with weak thin white head. Honey aroma with hint of grass. Short metalic mouth feel.

Tasted 18/06/2008. Meh...! Moa, schmoa. Think Montieth’s Golden with more hop flavour and bitterness. It’s pretty well made but is that all you have to offer Moa? I’m glad I got given this beer as I’d feel a little ripped off if I’d paid $6 for 330ml. They’re certainly not filling these lovely bottles with beer that is worthy of such a high price tag. I think Moa (and the NZ beer scene) really lost out when they Graeme Mahy moved to Murray’s in Australia. Graeme is making some marvellous beer that is spectacular and innovative. Moa is making average beer in a lovely bottle at an outrageous price.
