Nothing special. Aroma is very mild, notes of bready malt. Malt come through in taste, with hop finish.

Pours a dark copper brown color with a big thick white head. Aroma is very light. I smells some grass, light malts, that’s about it. The taste is light and refreshing but ultimately boring. Light malts, no hops to speak of, watery. There’s a fruity characteristic to it. Unfortunately there’s a weird metallic thing I keep getting after every sip that I really don’t like.

12oz can poured to pint glass. Nice off white two finger head with good retention. Minimal lacing. Malty biscuit, caramel and toffe notes, no detected hop aroma. Hazy golden color. Tastes of caramel, biscuit and minimal hops bittering. Low carbonation and watery mouthfeel. Not bad but not great either. Cheers!

[Tap] Pours a medium amber color. Little head to speak of. Nose of amber malts, caramel and light fruity notes. Caramel, toffee, biscuits, floral hops and cookie flavors. Thin, like all of their beers. No off flavors. Tasting notes from 8/2014.

Tap at the Peace Tree in Moab.

Not nearly the depth of the red rye IPA that preceded it, but it’s a perfectly unobjectionable session amber. Modest hops, balanced grains, enough going to avoid embarrassing itself at 4%. No reason for hate.

WOW -- nice. This is a session, but the flavor suggests otherwise. Incredibly flavorful toasted malts. HIGHLY recommended.

Poured into shaker pint from 16oz can. Aroma is bready, crackery, no hop aroma noticeable. Taste follows, biscuity, malty, bready. Balanced with a clean bitterness.

"Meh. Caramel malt, biscuit malt, and some faintly fruity and bitter hops in equal amounts. Nothing about this one stands out...not even quite to average for the style."

Pint can. Nose is heavy dough with dull caramel and dank earth and spice, very promising intensity for a 4-0 beer. Pours transparent copper with slightly above-average carbonation, a rocky and clingy beige head. Watery light body very soft with some extra doughy umph, flavors as mentioned above with a vein of very mild citrus in the middle, medium sweetness with light and somewhat rubbery bitterness, slight hints of nuts at volume and suggestions of complexity despite most metrics marking this malt character as boring or undercut. Little bit of an acrid tang I find unwelcome here, but high drinkability, would gladly have another.

Moab, UT - on tap at the brewpub. Sparkling medium copper pour with a decent off-white head. Fresh lake water aroma. Flavor is pleasant but slightly bland. Slight caramel notes, light citrus bitterness, some nuttiness. Smooth mouthfeel.
