COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Beside pictures, t-shirts and outlandish stories, Moab, Utah is not known for many other exports. In this vein, we created an Export Stout to take with you on your many travels. Our Export Stout can withstand the trip! Built with travel in mind, this stout has an extra amount of Two Row barley and roasted malts. The Export Stout tastes of rich malt with roasted coffee and dark chocolate flavors. This ale pours black with a light brown head and finishes silky. We prepared this bottle for transport by not filtering out the yeast. Instead, we used the yeast to help us naturally carbonate this beer for the long haul. Expect a small amount of yeast in the bottle. Our Export Stout pairs well with aged cheddars, rich food like barbequed beef, Mexican mole and spicy Thai. Fantastic with chocolate espresso cake and cream puffs. Store upright, chill and serve at 55°F to room temperature. Serve in an imperial pint or wide mouth glassware. Always share with a friend and drink to good times and future trips to Moab.

I must have gotten a spoiled bottle. The aroma was almost non-existent. Appearance was of a dark porter. Taste is what threw me off. It had a sour chemical taste, like the vat had been cleaned with a chemical tab and never rinsed before the batch was brewed. I can’t believe this left the brewery. I really wanted to like this beer, but after reading the other reviews, I can only surmise that their quality control is very poor. Moab Brewery is off my list. This beer cost me $9.49 that I might as well have flushed.

Bomber. Poured deep brown with a creamy tan head. The aroma picked up sweet, roasted cocoa and other black malts with accents of vanilla and molasses.. came across super sweet. The flavor found sweet coffee and milk chocolatey notes at the core mixed with vanilla creamer.. had a bit of a latte character to it.. the candy-like finish picked up a bit of tartness. Medium-bodied with an ok feel and flow through the palate.. too sweet and hard to drink a lot of.

22oz bottle pours out dark brown almost black topped with a tan head. Nose is sweet malts chocolate coffee and some hop notes. Taste is nice with a good malt balance sweet rich and a little tart. A good little hop touch on the end.

A very nice compendium of hops, malt, coffee, chocolate and alcohol. If I had one criticism, it would be that the finish was a little too sharp, but that could just be me at this particular tasting. Will definitely try this again.

Bomber from that liquor store in Fort Collins. Pours pretty near black with a tall tan head. At first the nose seems hot, but evens out nicely after a minute. I think some of that sharpness is the assertive hoppiness too. We got soy sauce, brownies, pine and cacao in the aroma. Good full body carries a balance of bittersweet and roasty malts with citrusy and piney hops peeking out. Very enjoyable.
