More like a light strong ale than an IPA. Very noticeable oaked aspect. Malt flavor is remiscent of grahams and pie crusts, along with some toasty cereal malts. Herbal hoppiness, with some vanilla and wood. Interesting, but not overly unique.

Seasonal IPA, Simcoe Hop, 80 IBU. Orange amber coloured beer with almost no carbonation and a very short white head. Fruity light buttery bitter hoppy hinted aroam; Full ligth bitter palate. Finish is fruity, creamy with a short buttery hint. Medium.

West USA trip 2010. On tap @ the brewpub. I expect this is the seasonal IPA I had second half of july 2010. The aroma has pine, citrus aprikot. Clear, golden coloured beer with a white lace. The taste is moderate bitter, bit harsh, carbonated. refreshing beer.

Pours a nice deep amber color. Aromas of hops/hops/citrus. Strong hop flavors with malts and a peppery crisp dry finish.

Mountain Brewers Beer Fest 2006. Lack of appearance judging reflects opaque plastic sampling cup. light straw/cereal with light grassy aroma. Very noticable oak flavor, like burbon. Interesting beer, but not really an IPA?
