16oz. Can: Aroma of lager yeast, toast, nuts, and slight malt. Poured orange in color with a large, tan head that diminished but lasted throughout. Cloudy. Sparkling. Full of small-sized particles throughout. Good lacing. Flavor is lightly bitter and lightly sweet. Tastes of lager yeast, malt, nuts, toast, and a hint of caramel. Medium body. Average texture. Average carbonation. Malt, nut, lager yeast, toast finish.

This poured a semi cloudy dark yellow color with a white head. Aroma was grassy, grainy malts and not much else. Flavor was a little metallic, light grassy and dusty hops and sweeter pale malt. Meh.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured from a point sized can. This beer has a nice malty character, the sulfury yeast I don’t really care for. Easy to drink, I could consume several of these on a hot summer day. Overall this is a decent beer.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: SEP 26, 2012 16 ounce can. A sweet fruity hop nose, some leaves. A rich sweet smooth even slightly bitter hop flavor, some dustiness, very smooth and tasty. Certainly some sweet fruity malts. Very refreshing, a good beer. On tap at the Brewpub. Pours a copper color with a small white head. The aroma is sweet caramel, earthy, some butterscotch (not diacetal). The flavor is an interesting dusty and dry caramel and light fruity hop mix. Very drinkable and tasty. Light but nice.

Darker amber coloured beer with a very small off-white head and some medium carbonation. Sweet fruity and malty hinted aroma. Medium to full body. Finish is bitter malty hinted with a longer dry bitter hoppy hint. Not bad.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft at the brewpub. Clear copper with a lasting head. Nose is sweet caramel and toasted nut. Taste is caramel with some tart apple, citrus and toasted bread. Light-medium body is smoothly carbonated, to the malty side and very sessionable. Not a favorite style, but this one is much better than Anchor Steam.

On tap at the brewery on 7/13/09. Pours a nice amber, touch of white head. Hoppy aroma with malty caramel background. Don’t have much more notes on that other than that it finished sweet. Only thing I remember is that this was more balanced and flavorful than some of the other Moab beers, but sticking to my notes for the rating.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Hoppy nose on this amber pour. Loaded with hops and has a good amount of bitterness which is just what I wanted on this steam beer. It has a sweet finish as well.
