Oakes (7032), Miami Beach, Florida, USA May 15, 2005 Bright reddish-bronze colour. Aroma is of woody, grapefruity, blood orangey hops. Flavour is sweet, with some light crystal or vienna malts and a hint of citrusy hops. Finishes fairly quickly. Bov (4744), Bienne, Switzerland Jul 20, 2005 clear and pale red-amber colour, the modest foam does not persist very long leaving just some big bubbles on the side of the glass; the hop characteristics give no doubts about the origin of the beer: fresh cream mainly but also apricot and some flowery notes, the whole thig leaving though an "unclean" impression, the solid bitterness does not quite succeed in hiding a modest malt body; moderately dry and a quite long hoppy finish - correct but not much more - thanks to MadDan and Crazy Silvie for this one hopscotch (4678), Vero Beach, Florida, USA Oct 8, 2008 Bottle
Clear, light amber ale with a small, creamy, white head. Good retention. Earthy, resiny aroma provides notes of sweaty socks, leather and grapefruit. Light to medium-bodied with middling carbonation. Perfectly-balanced flavor, but nondescript and thin. Crisp, lightly bitter finish. Bottle provided by Douglas88! BückDich (4605), Boise, Idaho, USA Jan 24, 2004 Pellucid filterd amber with light off-white head and good lacing. The aroma is freshly hoppy with a touch of malt. Simple & pleasing. The flavor is much more bitter than the aroma would suggest. Definately some dry hopping in this one. The finish is astringent and light bodied, lasts with the bitterness. Decent pale ale, I likey. jcwattsrugger (4087), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Jun 24, 2007 on tap-pours a white head and red/amber color. Aroma is light citrus (cascade) hops.
