Can courtesy of AirForceHops. Nutty, chocolate malt, and very light roast coffee aroma. Clear chestnut with a medium creamy off-white head. Light chocolate, toasted nuts, and light coffee flavor. Medium body, moderate carbonation. This is an excellent brown ale, and very easy drinking.

On tap at Eagle Mountain House in Jackson, NH. Clear, warm rich brown with small khaki head and excellent lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, nuts and toffee. Taste of roasted malt, toast, coffee, nuts, light hops and caramel. Mouthfeel and medium/high carbonation. Nice mouthfeel. This is a quite decent brown ale. It does not suffer from being too thin or having an excess of on flavor. I had this beer 4 years ago and it was not nearly as good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours clear amber with a huge tan head...nice retention and lacing. Aroma is nutty with touches of caramel and chocolate. Flavor is earthy/nutty with dry leaves and earthy bitterness. Mouthfeel is light...a little thin...with a bold roasty/earthy finish.

Can thanks to my buddy Chadwell! Light brown pour, minimal carbonation and a nice toasty nut aroma. Flavor is light chocolate, biscuit, lightly roasted nuts and finished a little malts. Not a huge fan of brown ales, but this works!

Growler. Pours a clear deep amber color with a thick head. Aroma is of chocolate malts, a little roastiness, oatmeal, and molasses. Flavor is of roasted chocolate, malts, grain, and a little coffee. Leaves a roasted chocolate malt finish. Not too bad.

Pours a clear red orange brown color with a decent sized bubbly tan head that slowly dissipates to a ring on top. Smells like a brown ale. Lots of caramel and toffee with hints of butterscotch, chocolate, and earth. The flavor is sweet with malts, lots of brown sugar and caramel with a slight bit of spice and earth. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation ans a sweet lightly syrupy mouthfeel. This is a nice brown ale. Solid tasty simple brew.

Pours deep mahogany into a Sam glass. Mocha micro head with good retention recedes leaving no lacing. Sweet milk chocolate and caramel aromas. Soft with dark caramel and chocolate milk front to back. Dry chocolate finish. Not bad.
