Nice beer that comes across as what Budweiser wishes it were. Crisp light flavor with a clean finish. Nothing special but decent overall.

Poured a golden color with a white head. Aroma was of grassy hops and pale grain. Flavor was sweeter, graham cracker like, grassy. Ok.

Canned on May 6, 2016. Clear deep yellow. Short-lived white head. Attractively soft nose of pastry-rich malt, melanoidins (browned shortbread, almond, breadcrust), honeycomb, tealike and herbal Saaz. Loose, but firm, carbonation. Richly textured malt inundates the palate with honeyed toast and grassy aspects on initial sip. Honey-dabbed poundcakelike melanoidins tease the palate as hop-derived nectar notes complement the minute residual sugars. Clean attenuation sets the stage for the deftly incorporated Saaz, which flashes its understatedly bright flower petal softness and appetizing array of acids before taking on a zipper, more rustic tea- and pepper-like dimension. Chewy haylike notes and increasingly buoyant melanoidins enhance the slightest "grip" of breadcrust, testifying to the adeptly decocted malt. Snappy twinge of lager yeast quietly emerges. Ongoing whispers of nectary and tealike Saaz are capped with delicate honeyed maltiness in the wonderfully soft and balanced finish. Lingering flavors recall chewy hay and fresh honeycomb. Very easy to enjoy this. It’s a classy rendition that gives a nod to the Old World with its deep and succulent maltiness that wouldn’t be attainable without decoction-mashing. Delightful brew. Merci to AirForceHops for the can!

Can from lake Winnipesaki convenience store. Pours a clear golden yellow with a white head. Aromas of earthy grassy hops with a slight fruity grape like finish. Taste is well balanced. Slightly sweet but finishes crisp. Easy drinker.

I really wish someone with a more adept use of the English language would partake in a tasting of this bitter, painful aftertaste, miserable excuse for a beer, and more eloquently, on my behalf, explain my true disdain for this unfortunate purchase.

Pours a medium yellow with a white head that quickly dissipates leaving no lacing. Nose is pilsner malt. Palate is medium light body. Taste is pilsner malt with a hop bitterness that is appropriate to the style. A good example of the style. 16 oz can It is good to see more and more breweries going to cans, which provide better storage, less weight, easier to recycle, and it can’t be used as a shove - jus’ kiddin’ :>). Even when the common complaint was "It tastes metallic" was popular, kegs were always made of steel.

Big can. Looks light. Aroma of pale malts, toast, light bread/dough and hints of floral hops. Flavor the same. Average to lighter texture. A decent beer for the style.

Pours out in a clear golden colour with low head and medium body. Aroma of malt and hops. Taste of mild hops, straw, bread, grains, pears and flowers. Light dusty hints, drinkable and nice nevertheless.
