Big can shared 3 ways on brew day. Notes only. Nice floral aroma, good body. Citrus, pine, well balanced. Nice surprise.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
2012.09.28 - 24oz can in pint glass. Pours textbook gold, vigorous head, leaves sticky lacing on first pour. Aroma is mild, taste is mildly hoppy. Meh, it's a pale ale. OK, would drink again, but nothing special to me (as someone who is indifferent to pale ales in general).

Fresh can from Maine trip. Golden appearance, with some lasting foam. Neutral at best aroma. The taste a little metallic, minimal hops detected.Average mouthfeel, fair drinkability.

Can thanks to my buddy Chadwell! Dirty dark orange pour, 1/2 inch head and some light hops & bitter orange aroma. Flavor is a nice meld of caramel, almonds, some slightly sweet herbal hops and finished rich and malty. I’d definitely pick this up if it ever made it to MN.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Growler from the brewery. Pours a clear deep golden color with a thick yet quickly disapating head. Aroma is of hops, grain, malts, slight grass, and tin. Flavor is pretty much the same. A little more of a dry pale ale. Leaves a bitter dry hop finish. Nothing special.

24 oz can amber color medium sweetness, lively carbonation. Glad to be able to try a new offering from NH, but the best thing about this one might be the interesting can. Ok pale ale.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a slightly muddy brown color with a good sized off white head. Aromas are straight malts with touches of toasted bread, caramel and bit of honey sweetness. On the palate its alot of the same but tastes a bit watered down... a bit like a small beer. Not bad but I remember some better batches in the past.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Half into a pint glass and half from the can. Fingers worth of white head. Clear, light-orange body. Lemon and orange-citrus candy on the nose with a touch of sweet malt. Light citrus on the tongue with caramel malt. Some light hop bitterness on the finish. Smooth body, carbonation is good. Decent beer overall. Nothing really stands out, but it goes down easy.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at the brewpub in North Conway, NH. Pours a clear golden colored body with a finger-width, frothy, off-white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a moderate lacing. Aroma is bready pale malts with a light caramel and a medium-light floral hopping. Citruses, a light peach, and a few pine notes. Flavor is similar. Bready, thinner feeling pale malts and a light caramel with a decent amount of floral citruses. Grapefruit grows a bit towards the end as this dries nicely with a light grassy and floral bitterness. Fairly lengthy aftertaste following a light, smooth body and a moderate carbonation. Overall, a pretty basic, but decent pale ale. Decently hopped and easy drinking. Not bad.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
24oz can, purchased at Bert’s Better Beers - Hooksett, NH. Aroma is a clean, fresh plain and lightly hoppy ale. Flavors are similar. This has a nice lace and a balanced body. Certainly nothing outstanding about this beer and the malt gets a little old-tasting, but it’s definitely quite drinkable and I’d be happy to have a couple of cans of this on the trail to get me through.
