24oz can. Multiple tastings. Pours cloudy golden-orange with a white head. Have had this several times at the brewpub in Conway but it took drinking it from the can at home to realize how good a pale ale this one really is. Citrus and sweet malt flavors up front with bitter hops at the end.

From the 24 flo. oz. can. It pours a cloudy yellow-orange with a huge, puffy head. The aroma is moderate in grapefruit-citrus and sweet malts but lower in hops. The body is fuller than many pales and quite creamy and delicate. The taste begins sweet and finishes with a pleasant hop bitterness. A nice pale.

A: The beer pours a clear amber color with a thin layer of white head to go on top. S: Some piney hops start things off along with a fair amount of floral notes to the beer. Lots of lemon going on, especially the rind. It’s got a bit of a lemon oil thing going on, too. Bready malts and candied orange peel are also there. T: Surprisingly bitter, which dominates and sort of ruins the flavor. More of that lemon peel character along with the pine. The malt is definitely pushed into the background on this beer. M: Medium in both body and carbonation. O: Smelled pretty decent, but the flavor was just far too bitter. Not enough hop (or malt) flavors to this beer.

UPDATED: JUN 7, 2011 On Draft. Cascade hops in both nose and flavor. Medium bitterness, light to medium body. Decent APA. Has some citrus notes and very weak malt as well. Kind of average but still not bad in anyway.

Newly available in 24 oz cans, very cool. Pours a deep golden color with a good sized fluffy white head that slowly dissipates to a cap. Smells of citrus, grapefruit, lightly toasted malt, a little bready maybe a hint of earthy. Smells like a nicely balanced pale ale. Crisp bitterness right up front followed by some grapefruit and a bit of biscuit. Leaves a long lingering citric tartness after every sip. Very nicely balanced brew. Medium level of carbonation and body. Great little pale ale, I could see lots of these easy drinkers in my future. Now if you could just bring down the price of the Imperial Stouts that you bottled....

Pours clear gold into a shaker. Bright white head with medium retention recedes to skim surface. Cookie, bread and caramel aromas. Sweet resin upfront turning to hay in the middle before the lasting hint of citrus finish.

Copper pour at the Barley Pub. Aroma is some toffee malt and some spicey hop aroma. Flavor is resinous hops, some spice, some fruity esters as well such as nectarine. Nice hop presence on this. Really a delightful APA

Sampler draught in North Conway. Decent APA but the aroma and flavour seemed mish-mashed about with no real strong characteristics. Pleasant and easy drinking but not a great APA.
