Cask at GBBF 08. Cloudy amber with an interesting nose and flavour - juniper, incense, wood sap and varied spices that reminded me of my mum’s kitchen in my childhood. Average weight. An interesting beer.

Cask, GBBF 08. Hazy brown, thin shortlived off white head, moderate condition. Gently woody aromas with hints of sweet malt and some herbal notes, dry bitter and earthy in the mouth with some suggestion of sap and a vaguely phenolic edge, lingering dry bitter herbal sappiness with a low residual sweetness.
