Pours a hazy light golden color with a decent sized white head that slowly dissipates to a cap on top. Light bready malt base with faint blueberry and light earthy hops. The flavor is like a light lager with a faint blueberry twang to it. Light bready pilsner malt with a hint of spice and some blueberry syrup buried deep underneath. Light to medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a sweet watery mouthfeel. Bland, unexciting but technically nothing flawed here. The blueberry is too faint and the beer too uninspiring. Why on earth this 22oz bottle of 4.5% abv beer retails for north of 9 dollars boggles my mind.

Sampled on tap at the brewpub in North Conway, NH. The pour is a hazy straw-yellow with a thin head. The aroma is less about blueberry and more about butter. The body was medium. The blueberry is far more noticeable in the flavor than in the aroma but it left a kind of slick, buttery aftertaste, a slight hop bite and lingering astringency.

Bottle from Case N Keg in New Hampshire. The label just says "Blueberry ale" but it must be this one - how many blueberry beers can Moat Mountain produce ? Light fruity aroma, but the "natural" flavor in the description is always a bad sign. Artificial, slightly metallic tasting blueberry on an indisinguishable malt base. Very watery. Shared with 3 people, thank goodness. Never would have gotten through a bomber.

Pours a two finger white head that fades quickly leaving some lace. Hazy straw color. Light carbonation and light bodied. Light blueberry nose and flavor is light tart blueberry, balanced bitterness. A little watery, could use more blueberry. $8.99 for a 22oz bottle from Glen Beverage Glen, NH. Label is just Blueberry Ale.

On tap in Wolfesboro, NH. Pours a cloudy amber with reddish purple highlights, a two finger white head. Nice wheat aroma, with berry and touch of banana. Medium blueberry flavor, along with some wheat. Like a hefe with a couple drops of blueberry juice. Light to medium body with medium carbonation.

Tap at Barley Pub. Hazy golden pour, aroma of blueberries, blackberries, some light hoppiness. Flavor is a sweet blueberry fruit with some hoppy bitterness. Drinkable with some carbonation, acidic finish. Rather tastey
