2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Mildly toast, but then gets to bitter midway through. Iím a hophead, but I really donít like hoppy pale ales. IPAs yes, but I prefer a malty pale. This one is average at best.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Not a bad pale ale. Itís just totally unassertive. Nice, pleasant citrus aroma and hoppy flavors. Decent fruitiness. Nice, mellow bitterness to finish. Golden in color with a smallish head. Not bad, just undistinguished.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Amber orange color with fading white head. Aromas of faint grapefruit hops and pineyness. Flavor is moderately bitter light malt, with a displeasing watery finish and coppery aftertaste; sort of like the bottom falls out of this one.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
A fair pale ale, balanced and drinkable- another way of saying very middle of the road. I prefer hoppier pale ales in the aroma, flavor and bitterness department, which doesnít mean that this beer is flawed. It is what it is- a basic pale ale, dry, dry and without much of the caramel that some have. Not bad, but not topping my list.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
A good pale ale, but nothing really special. First time I tried it and was hoping to find a hidden gem, but just found a good beer.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
I liked drinking this beer. Good hop aroma and an aggressive yet smooth hop taste. Nicely bittered, reasonable head. Citrus tones. Body and color are about average for a better example of the style with quality malts shining through. There's nothing revolutionary about this beer, but that's ok. It's priced reasonably at $7 a 6 pack and would make an excellent stand-by for those times when you just can't spring for the North Coast, 3 Floyds or Andersons. Incidentally, I swear that Mobjack's beers have improved dramatically over the last 5 years or so. If you haven't had one in a while, give this brewery another chance.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
A little lighter in color than most pale ales, with a citrusy/hoppy aroma. Decently balanced, but Iíd like to see a little more hoppiness in a pale. Still not bad though, and certainly a refreshing brew.
