3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle, bought @ Cavee de Bulles, Paris. [thanks bigbro]
Deep brown colour with a lovely, staying, creamy, beige head. Nice roasted malts aroma, light oats, dark chocolate. Low to medium carbonation with a mild creaminess and mild dryness. Flavour is elegant, light sweetness, some very light astringency, medium roasted, lots of dark, velvety chocolate. Reminds me of a slightly more chocolatey Samuel Smith Oatmeal. Very nice.

Bottle from Cave à Bulles. Very dark brown with a lively tan head. Roasted coffee aroma. Chocolate, earth and espresso flavours. Good dryness towards the finish. Does not revolutionize the stout world, but well-made indeed.
