2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pale lager with little head, fairly malty aroma and dryish flavour but generally sweet. Overall better than I was expecting from a Mexican beer.

1.8 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Dull, gold appearance with nothing going on in the aroma category. Flavor is not much of an improvement. Okay as a palate cleanser if you are eating something spicy. Thin, cardboard-like taste with a short finish.

Ouch. Canned evil used for a rating. It is yellow and fizzy. Head fades quickly. Taste is watery and thin. Aroma is non-contributory. Another sad pale lager.

UPDATED: APR 10, 2007 My neighbor, Fernando’s favorite beer. It’s a solid, drinkable lager... but doesn’t offer too much to a serious beer drinker. The "dark" is a finer drink.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Pale yellow/golden colour. Thin white head.
Slight hop aroma. Taste is sweet and hops. Thin bodied. Not bad, nothing special. Pretty good with Nachos.

Bottle. Pale yellow fizzy beer. Not much flavor, but enought to make it better than most in its catogory

For some reason this beer is the most generic thing I have ever tasted...but after managing kitchens my whole life I have discovered a fun secret...buy a shaker of Twang (lemonlime salt) and a 12 of this in the can (do not buy the bottle)...pour a fourth out and pour about a tbs. of Twang in...chug...you will be one of the vatos in no time!

I had this in a can on my AeroMexico flight to Cancun. Wow, this is truly boring! Just yellow and fizzy.Lightly malty, very thin. Like beer-flavored water. Why bother?

Guam SwillFest 2004: Pours yellow with a thin white head. Slightly skunky aroma, similar to the other beer I had earlier that had a coffee aroma. Light fruit taste followed by cardboard. Finishes kind of dry.
