dwaggs2 (531), Lee’s Summit, Missouri, USA Aug 3, 2008 Bottle. This is a typical mexican beer. However, it is better then most mexican beers. Pours a straw yellow with almost no head. Smelled of corn and malts. This is a very drinkable beer. It is also good to drink on a hot summer day. Smooth smjohnst (202), , Pennsylvania, USA Aug 2, 2008 This beer smells, looks and tastes absolutely awful. I got a free sample bottle where I work and I ended up pouring it out because I could NOT drink it. jujubeast6000 (768), Houston, Texas, USA Jul 30, 2008 (Tap @ Gingerman, Houston, TX): Pours a clear yellow-light brown color. Smallish white head, somewhat lasting. Sweet wheaty aroma, maybe some malts, but no hops. Fizzy taste, fruity, maybe banana. Some malts, fruity aftertaste. Surprisingly tasty. Angeloregon (2024), Portland, Oregon, USA Jul 29, 2008 Bottle from By the Bottle in Vancouver, WA--Poured a clear golden body with a frothy white head. Nose of crisp, clean malts and mild adjunct corn. Very nondescript and clean. I liked it a lot. sebletitje (1880), Tampa, Florida, USA Jul 27, 2008 Bottle at Newark airport.
Pours light golden with a white head.
Aroma of wheat and corn some citrus.
Taste was horrible, typical pale lager, dry with no flavor. Sparky27 (1559), Phoenix, Arizona, USA Jul 21, 2008 Can. Pours a dark gold with one finger white head. Nose is your typical Mexican lager with straw and a bit of hops. Taste is grain, corn and a touch of bitter hops in the finish. Light mouth feel. Nothing special but refreshing on this 101 degree evening as I’m grilling steaks. Russo (595), Campinas, Brazil Jul 15, 2008 Canned in Omha, NE. Pale yellow color poor foamy, aroma is malty and some fruity notes. Flavor is malty, a little fruity notes could be percetpted. mouthfeel is a little bitter. good one!
Português : Cerveja clara com pouca espuma, aroma de malte e notas de frutas. O mesmo para o sabor, retorgosto um pouco amargo, boa cerveja.
maltdog (509), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Jul 14, 2008 Bottle. Beautiful lemon yellow, incredibly clear, thin white lather, excellent lace. mild, Honeyed malt nose with grasssy/spicy hop and barest notes of white grape and banana. Light, crackery flavor finishes with a splash of lime juice acidty. Palate is thin and juicy and undercarbonated. Gentle earthy spicy aftertaste. Though by no means a flavorful beer, it is better than average for the uninteresting "pale lager" style... roughly twice a "good" as budmilloors. I was pleasantly surprised.
