mabel (2530), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Oct 11, 2009 [2494-20090926] Tap. Grassy hops grains aroma has light fruity straw notes. Clear, light brown orange body with a long-lasting creamy white head. Fruity straw hops flavour has a lot of hay. Medium body. Fair beer, nothing special after all.
(@ Toyota Park; Chicago, IL) arventresca (334), Greenville, North Carolina, USA Oct 6, 2009 Another crappy Mexican beer. For the money you could buy mucho crappy American beer. Save half your money and buy some PBR. gracefullypunk (272), Washington, USA Oct 2, 2009 Bleck. This is Corona yet somehow worse. Same bottler, looks exactly the same, except less carbonated, more bitter and less refreshing. It’s clear with no head, a light smell and very little hop taste, along with some corn. carruthm (1110), Seattle, Washington, USA Oct 2, 2009 Light pale lager, as you’d expect but with a slight steeping of bitter present. Not really sessionable even. Borup (1345), Albertslund, Denmark Oct 2, 2009 Bottle. Straw yellow colour with a thin white head. Aroma and flavour of malt, hops and hay. jerc (3861), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Oct 1, 2009 2009-09-27. Golden yellow body with a modest white head. Aroma of cereal and grains. Flavour is similar with cereal and grainy character that may or may not have a touch of adjunct notes to it. Average palate is more full bodied than expected. Not good enough that I would have it again but surprisingly inoffensive. Improved remarkably when topped up with Lagunitas IPA. On tap at Toyota Park, Chicago, TFC vs. Fire
segfault (98), Centennial, Colorado, USA Sep 27, 2009 Actually, this beer takes more knocks than it deserves. For a pale lager of the light Mexican variety, it is actually pretty good. kenter2000 (11), , Wisconsin, USA Sep 23, 2009 corn, water, malt. initial taste cringe worthy but a decent after taste. its like you work for the second half of the beer sip.
