laguerita (111), Chicago, Illinois, USA May 29, 2008 ummm, not much to this one. watery as usual for grupo modelo. nice color, though. HenrikSoegaard (4260), Randers, Denmark May 26, 2008 Bottle. Frothy white fair mostly deminishng head. Yellow colour. Light malty bready aroma. Light swet and almost no bitterness. Short finish. Watery palate. May 15, 2008 Not an exciting brew really, but compliments spicey mexican dishes very well. Pours a clear amber colour with a small frothy head. strong hop aroma with a smooth creamy taste. Finishes a bit on the watery side. gfolivares (67), McAllen, Texas, USA May 14, 2008 Poors a deep golden color with good white head. Aromas of sweet malt and grain, caramel, and faint hops. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Gentle, sweet malt taste with moderate hop bitterness, and a crisp, clean finish. More flavor than your average Mexican pale lager, but not up to par with its sibling Negra Modelo. Try with shrimp cocktail, ceviche, or panchos loaded with fajitas. robertjm (399), El Cerrito, California, USA May 13, 2008 My choice for Cinco de Mayo 08 (though didn’t drink it that day). Frankly very lightweight lager. Tastes like watered down Pilsner Urquel, so the base is very good, except for the wateryness. elihapa (1033), Honolulu, California, USA May 13, 2008 3/22/08 notes: cheap can, tastes a hell of a lot like Tecate crossed with a Coors light. Not to be drank, especially for the import price. thooper41 (384), Oregon, USA May 12, 2008 12oz bottle: pours golden brown with quick disipating head, aroma of a skunks bu, worst smelling beer i have ever had, flavor isnt half bad they managed to get most of the skunk out of the taste, its very light like malty carbonated water and a hint of skunk.
