changeup45 (782), Orlando, Florida, USA Apr 10, 2008 Updated: Jun 24, 2008Re-rate. Had a couple of these while visiting a friend. It’s not bad for what it is. Grainy, somewhat sweet and only a touch of skunk. For a Mexian beer it really isn’t that bad. Refreshing enough in the hot sun and not bad paired with spicy foods. Just don’t expect anything "especial" :-) BeerFanDan17 (610), Land O Lakes, Florida, USA Apr 7, 2008 (cleaning out my beer bottle collection as pictured in my profile and utilizing ratebeer.com)
As I recall, nice alternative to other watered down Mexican brews. You can also throw a lime slice in this one to battle the lack of flavor. ebrowner88 (113), Rice, Minnesota, USA Apr 6, 2008 Pale yellow, white fizzy head. Clean taste typical of style with less skunky taste. Does not ned a lime but tastes great with one. Good with fajitas or by the pool. jeremytoni (1069), Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA Apr 4, 2008 From a bottle poured a golden straw color with a fair amount of head. A kind of skunky smell and flavor. HughConway (364), Alabama, USA Apr 2, 2008 Bottle. Yellow, not a very distinctive flavor or aroma. Best cold with spicy food to drown out the taste. The negro is superior. kurtkosher (144), USA Apr 1, 2008 not bad but very flavorless. there are many many other mexican beers i was not impressed Bungalo22 (326), Bridgeport, Connecticut, USA Mar 31, 2008 Tastes a bit like Corona light. Golden yellow. Not much of a flavor or aroma. haf (333), Gijon, Spain Mar 31, 2008 Botella 325 Ml. Lo mejor que tiene es la forma de la botella. No es mas que una corona/coronita en otra botella
