dslunsford1 (55), Hampton, Virginia, USA Dec 13, 2007 Maybe my can was bad, but it smelled very bad. Light color, low head, but would be a great beer to use in a beer bong. Corpo acquoso. La mia era 4.5% ABV, però. Non molto diversa dalla Corona, direi. junon (210), Honolulu, Hawaii, USA Nov 22, 2007 Not too much to say. Little fragrance with taste to match. Looks crisp though. Heineken, Corona, Moosehead, and the like drinkers would like this one if they were forced to drink it. troyc (1173), Lubbock, Texas, USA Nov 22, 2007 (Bottle) Pours a light yellow color, with a white foamy head. Aroma of corn flakes. Taste is similar, with a sweet and syrupy finish. Decent mouthfeel for a pale lager. Not the worst Mexican beer... in fact, it is probably one of the better. jcwattsrugger (5223), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Nov 13, 2007 12oz can-pours a dissipating white head and yellow color. Aroma is sweet-grain/corn. Taste is sweet grain/corn, faint hops bite. Light side/thin mouth feel. BrewmeisterEd (59), USA Nov 11, 2007 Poured like Bud, looked like Bud, tasted sweeter than Bud with a touch more of an after taste. Sort of the Taco Bell of Mexican imports - truth to tell, though, it holds its own against Corona - but priced accordingly... hophead75 (1945), Boonton, New Jersey, USA Nov 2, 2007 Not worth typing much about this one. Aroma- barely anything- some adjuncts corn, etc with very light touches of malt. taste is pretty much the same. very watery, I can say it was pretty clean though. Hangover (764), Atlanta, USA Nov 1, 2007 Modelo Especial? Must be French. Clear, golden pour Slight aroma of grain scythed from fields by day laborers. Sweet, sticky aroma. Finish is crisp. This beer is about as bad as the US immigration policy. The only reason I would buy this brew again is if it jumped out of the can and drywalled my basement.
