gmcase (113), Indiana, USA Jun 20, 2007 bottle. I can’t believe I used to think this was a good beer. It is better than most mexicans. Trooper11 (464), Suffolk, Virginia, USA Jun 7, 2007 Definitely worth the 1.5 star rating. Pale yeller, lots o bubbles. Taste like umm water and pepper. TcTango (48), Tyler, Texas, USA Jun 6, 2007 This is a beer that I would never get on its own. However, it is a great thirst quencher, and goes pretty good with some hot wings. It cleanes the palate fairly well and creates a good balance with the hot wings. mikey (336), farmington, Utah, USA Jun 6, 2007 Poured a clear golden color with a medium soapy head that dissapeared rather quickly. The nose had a lemony sourness to it with a decent amount of malt presence. Toasted grain and biscuit also come through. The taste started a little tart and dry with a slight wheaty flavor and ended with a strong grassy hop bitterness. Carbonation was a little high. Not bad for a mexican beer. mk70 (62), New York, USA Jun 6, 2007 This one was rough and I drank it from the can. I’m sure it’s more drinkable from the bottle and closer to Corona. riversideAK (2648), Shoreline, Washington, USA Jun 4, 2007 A grainy sweet aroma. Was a pretty gold color, but it looked somewhat corny. Flavor was a Mexican sweetness, a little dirty, a little hoppy. It wasnt bad. It was better than Corona. wcampbell (567), Central, South Carolina, USA Jun 3, 2007 Like Corona, but worse. Has a smooth but strange taste. Carbonated and no traces of malt or hops. It is also expensive. Beerlando (2280), Orlando, Florida, USA Jun 3, 2007 Pale yellow-gold color with a small pure white head. Aroma is corn and skunky malt. I’ve tried this beer several times from several sources (can, bottle, draft) and it always has a skunky-sweet smell and taste to it. Don’t like this beer at all.
