joe19612 (673), camberley, Surrey, England May 30, 2007 Bottle. Poured a orange gold colour with a carbonated white head which soon vanished. Had a real poor aroma and a malty taste, not very good. krysztofar (344), belleville, Illinois, USA May 30, 2007 Color is golden with a tall head, (i may have poured too fast) Smell is corny and similar to most pale mexican lagers. kinda sharp. Taste is malty and sweet kinda gross seaweed thing goin on. eww unclemattie (2370), Georgia, USA May 27, 2007 12oz can. It was all they offered at the Mexican restaurant, I’m so ashamed. Poured pale yellow. aroma of lime and metal. lemon flavors. light bodied. cfn63 (1), USA does not count May 24, 2007 I tried the bottle first and found it very "skunky". I went to party recently and had the can with a small wedge of lime put right into the can and the flavor was so different from what I had in the bottle. The can is so smooth - not what I expected at all. jefcon (997), Arlington, Virginia, USA May 20, 2007 Yellow pour with an open, airy foam. Aromas of corn and a one-dimensional, stale malt flavor. Tons of carbonation. Still, fairly clean and much weightier than other of its Mexican brethren. patrick767 (2016), fort wayne, Indiana, USA May 18, 2007 bottle - I poured a glass of Modelo, It was quite fizzy and yellow. The taste made me mourn, it was such nasty corn. To the drain I think it must go. (seriously, this is nasty beer. Maybe it’s skunked, but if so, one can only blame the brewery for putting it in a clear bottle. The finish is particularly awful.) imdownthepub (5086), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England May 17, 2007 Bottled, pasteurised, 330ml. Orange gold, carbonated, white fizzed head. Poor lager with a tinny, sweetcorn, cardboard flavour. Overcarbonated and definitely not one to revisit, however; you do have to remind yourself how bad it can get. JAF737300 (791), Tampa, Florida, USA May 14, 2007 I think this is worse than Montesuma’s revenge. Quite honestly is flat all around and has a tin like taste. Not good.
