2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Giant can to nonic pint glass. Pours pure golden with a tall eggshell head that descends quickly to not a whole lot, leaving some sudsy lace somehow. Nose involves soft corn, golden grain, slight honey, and faint grassy hops. Fairly sweet without much bitterness, perhaps a light tartness. Medium bodied, tingly, with a dusty grain finish. Not awful, no skunkiness detectable, though a clear bottle couldn’t be good for this. Really, not too bad of a brew, much better than other Mexican (and American by way of Belgium and Brazil) alternatives. Is it worth the premium, though? Where I am, a 24-pack case is $5 more than bud, but a 24 oz. can is the same price. Regardless, i would drink this at a Mexican restaurant with something involving refried beans and farmers cheese. A relleno perhaps. Not a tamale though. For that, Negra Modelo.

Pours a very light yellow with a good bit of carbonation. Very little aroma. Taste of sweet corn and some floral flavors. Lawnmower beer.

I bought this for the wife. It was a buck less than Corona and miles away from cliche. Poured pale yellow with white head. Scent was grainy. Taste was slightly sweet but a touch tinny. Brewed fizzy to hide the obvious shortcomings in other areas. Can - Carousel - Panama City Beach, FL

Nice color, but a simple flavor with and increase in hops at the end. Nothing special, better served cold in a sunny day.

Somewhat, dark-yellow colored beer, but it has a regular white foamy head. Somewhat sweet/hoppy aroma, but not very present. Slightly bitter taste, and a slightly bitter aftertaste which vanishes quite soon.

Probably one of the worst beers I have had, doesn’t taste like anything in particular it just kind of is beer. At the same level of natty and keystone.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Appearance: sudsy white head of less than an inch, recedes rapidly leaving light lacing. Golden straw color. Heavy amount of carbonation bubbles.
Aroma: corn, a little toasted grain, no detectable hop aroma.
Mouthfeel: watery, crisp, slightly wet finish.
Flavor: nice balance of malt sweetness with a hint of hop bitterness for some balance.
Overall: I found this beer pleasant on a hot summer day. It is nothing outstanding, but neither is it offensive. Very drinkable with no off flavors.

I think skunked pee and corn sum up the aroma. I mean, maybe the taps at Don Pablos need to be cleaned, maybe the beer is just terrible.
