Typical Mexican beer. Light on everything but when you just need something cold to drink it hits the spot.

Can from Ali. Aroma: Sweet cornbread made with cream corn; light grassy perfume. Appearance: Light, still gold with a ring of white head; expected a little more fizzy here. Flavor: Matches the nose with a puff of grass toward the finish; yeah, maybe a little sweet especially up front. Palate: Light body, slick texture, flat carbonation, abrupt finish. Overall: Just alright, but respectable when compared to other mass market pale lagers. Still doesn’t trump my Mexican axe Carta Blanca.

Not offensive but not worthwhile either, watery highly carbonated Mexican lager.

Can’t say I was surprised, but Modelo failed to make sweet love to my palate. Instead, this was the kind of cheap lay that you’d rather forget about. Alright, that was a little dramatic. Point is, this beer is mostly unoffensive if you drink it cold out of the fridge; it becomes increasingly shittier after that. Its darker counterpart isn’t much to talk about, but it seems like a damn masterpiece when compared to this stuff.
