I had to rerate this due to a mistaken bottle: Pours a see-through yellow and has a grassy, metallic smell with maybe a dash of lemon. Similar taste and had a light fluffiness with a small quickly vanishing head. Not my go-to cheapy beer, but better than a corona and I often refer to it as a "Mexican Budweiser".

If you cant buy Corona, Dos Equis or Victoria this will be the next best Mexican Cerveza. Drinkability by numbers good without killing you. Too pricey though, go with the others listed for the money.

While this is no fantastic beer it is very good for cooking and is fantastic in most beer cocktails particularly Micheladas

Not a huge fan of many Mexican brews at all... this seems to be the least offensive of the megas.

Mexican PBR basically. Ubiquitous here in Chicago. Perfectly suitable porch pounder. Orale, cabron!

Poured from bottle golden pour with a one finger white head. Aromas of corn malt and bread. Taste is lackluster and would improve with lemon or lime slices.
